Bio: Amanda Gallardo
Amanda Gallardo originally received her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling then began working with Autistic students and recognized that to support these students, she needed more training. She was an RBT from 2019 - 2021 while she received a Master’s Level Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis in March 2020. She has been a BCBA since June 2021 and has supported individuals ranging from 2 to 55 years old.
She’s passionate about working in this field to help individuals, families, and communities recognize all that they bring to the world.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys hiking, camping, walking, swimming, running, working on hand embroidery, and being with her partner and dog (Chip). She is a third-generation Mexican American who has spent the past 3-4 years reconnecting with ancestral traditions and learning about the history of colonization and its impacts on indigenous people groups.
