Bio: Ian Becker
Ian Becker became a certified behavior technician in 2023, working with children in the home, and across different community settings. He began working with people with developmental disabilities in 2019 helping adults secure housing and employment through the non-profit organization he was apart of. As a Boy Scout and Den Chief he’s passionate supporting kids find their voice and develop interpersonal toolkits to navigate a world not always tailored to them. Ian prioritizes offering a safe space for children with developmental disabilities to advocate for themselves, coming from a place of patience and grace. He believes everyone deserves a place where they feel heard and can explore their emotions to find security within their family and community. On the weekend, Ian enjoys spending time in nature, when the weather allows it, and on cold/ rainy days staying inside with a good book and his cats Whitney and Denali.
