Bio: Lou Stober
Lou began his career in 2020 as a lifeguard and swim instructor, with a focus on supporting autistic children. In 2023, he transitioned into working in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). During this time, he also completed EMT training, but chose not to pursue the field due to concerns with existing protocols for responding to individuals experiencing mental health emergencies. As someone with autism and ADHD himself, Lou drew inspiration from his own experiences and from watching his father—who grew up in the 1960s without a diagnosis or support for his autism. These experiences fueled his commitment to providing the kind of care and understanding that both he and his father lacked. Beyond his work in behavioral health, Lou is a professional graphic designer and art school graduate. He often incorporates art into his practice, using it as a meaningful way to connect and bond with clients.
