I have dedicated more than 10 years to the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), but my passion for helping children began long before my career started. Inspired by my cousin's son, who was diagnosed with autism around 16 months old, I wanted to learn everything I could to help him navigate the world. That experience sparked a lifelong passion for supporting children with autism and their families.
Although I originally planned to become a teacher because of an amazing, dedicated, and supportive teacher I had in elementary school, Mrs. Steven. I discovered ABA at 18 and changed my educational path from Early Childhood Education to Applied Behavioral Science. A decision I have never looked back on.
As a CBT, I believe every child has unique strengths and endless potential. I love building trusting relationships with my clients and their families while creating a fun, supportive environment where children can learn, grow, and celebrate every success, no matter their size. Watching a child gain confidence and master a new skill is what makes my work so rewarding.
Outside of work, I am a friend, sister, wife and proud mom of two brilliant and feral kiddos. I love spending time with family and friends laughing, making joyful chaos and lasting memories together. I also have a passion for baking and hopes to one day open my own small business, sharing cookies, breads, and other sweet treats with others, like I did and sold while living in Brazil as a diplomat. I am also excited to welcome soon a Sphynx cat into my family, a dream I have had for many years now that we are in our forever home.
