Bio: Renae Collister
Renae moved to Washington from Oahu, Hawaii two years ago. She grew up in New Hampshire where she earned her B.S. in Early Child Development and Family Studies in 2017. During her undergrad years she spent her time at the University of New Hampshire’s Child Study and Development center, where she focused her research on teaching strategies to create child led curriculums based on interests and developments. She practiced this child led approach as a preschool teacher and now uses it to best serve her clients in a naturalistic, play based environment in the ABA field. Renae will be working towards her Master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis at the University of Washington. During her time in her masters program she hopes to focus on individual led communication development and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Devices. When not in the office you’ll most likely find Renae frolicking through the mountains or searching for the perfect gluten free pastry.
