Therapy and Consultation
Our consultation services determine how ethical, compassionate ABA therapy can best support each individual learner, then implement therapy sessions accordingly. Our team can support your child in home, school, and in other settings as needed. This might include community outings, play dates, and meal time, depending on your child's needs. While we often work directly with your child, our focus is also on sharing our knowledge with parents and caregivers and including them in sessions as much as possible. |
Assessment
We utilize the findings of comprehensive skills and behavioral assessments to structure support plans and training. Assessment involves the use of a multitude of tools, such as interviews with caregivers as well as direct observation and asking our clients about their own personal goals, to create a clear picture of each client's strengths and areas for growth. Similarly, assessments are also used to determine your child's preferences; this helps us make therapy sessions fun and exciting which is always one of our biggest goals! |
Caregiver Coaching and Education
Caregiver involvement plays a tremendous role in child development and success. That's why caregiver training and education is an essential component of all of our support plans. While traditional behavior therapy sessions are often one-on-one (therapist working directly with child), we prefer for parents to be involved in sessions when possible. This allows us to collaborate and share tools to foster success even outside of therapy sessions. We also prioritize collaborating with the other professionals in your child's life, like teachers, OTs, SLPs, and more! |
Our services are rooted in Evidence Based Practices
While there are many support options to support people with ASD and other disabilities, Applied Behavior Analysis only utilizes evidence-based practices. "Evidence-based practices" are those which have been proven effective through research. Additionally, we select only those EBPs which are ethical, respectful, and appropriate for each person. |
Individualized to meet your family's needs
Family culture is an important part of child development and day-to-day life. Because families are so diverse, our therapy and consultation services are tailored to meet the individual needs of each family. |
