Bio: Emily Allen
Emily graduated from the University of California, Davis in 2018. Throughout her time as an undergraduate student and in the years since graduating Emily has worked as a reading tutor and RBT with neurodiverse children. Starting in the fall of 2022, Emily is pursuing her masters and then PhD in School Psychology at the University of Washington. During the summer, Emily serves on the leadership team of the UW Autism Center’s APEX Summer Camp in a naturalistic ABA setting to provide intensive clinical behavior intervention while also providing the fun and social experiences associated with summer camp. Emily treasures the unique relationships she builds with all of the kids she works with, and is always eager to learn from families, other professionals, her peers, and most importantly the kids. When she isn’t working Emily enjoys skiing and mountain biking, as well as camping with her family, hanging out with friends, or just watching Netflix.
