Bio: Alex Robertson
Alex has been working with children for the last 10 years, from nanny to camp counselor to assistant teacher to behavioral therapist. Prior to ABA, she lived in both Thailand and Spain where she taught English to elementary children. It was there that she found her passion for teaching neurodivergent individuals and working alongside them to carefully construct personalized learning plans and goals. She believes each child's needs should be heard, met, and respected within their own timeline, while simultaneously providing them with alternatives to society's neurotypical expectations. Alex is currently pursuing her degree at Capella University in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis, in hopes to eventually obtain her masters and become a BCBA. In her free time, she likes to write, explore new restaurants, and go hiking with her wife and two fur-babies.
